Sod for my environment
I am trying to find the best sod for my backyard. Here are the conditions that the sod will face: In the summer, temperatures can get as high as 114 or so. In the winter, we can get down to 28 or so. We have many more hotter days than cold ones. We don't get much rain (central valley, Kings County). I also have three dogs who love to run and play in the back yard as well as my two kids and the neighbor kids. I have almost no shade in the back yard. Also will dogs tend not to dig as much if the area is sodded? Thanks..

Gofiggah,
I suggest the 90/10 sod blend for your area and conditions. It handles heavy traffic, and the temperature conditions that you have. It also should recover faster than any other sod blend from a dog digging.
